Kennedy Tarrell is a Los-Angeles based writer, storyboard artist, and comic-maker. She's currently working as a story artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios, most recently on Zootopia 2 (2025), Versa (2025) and Wish(2023). She’s also written, storyboarded, or developed in both the feature and TV space for clients including Cartoon Network, Netflix Animation, DreamWorks Animation, Titmouse, and Warner Brothers.
In the publishing space, her debut YA graphic novel, Evil-ish, was published on July 22nd, 2025 by Feiwel & Friends - Macmillan. Her second YA graphic novel with Feiwel & Friends is forthcoming. She is currently illustrating Earth, Every Other Wednesday, a YA graphic novel written by Amy Brown and published by Aladdin Books - Simon & Schuster.
